The ME to WE Group with some help from the Grade 4/5 students in Room 18 at Breslau P.S., will be organizing a toy drive at our school, starting November 24th through December 13th.  We will be collecting unwrapped toys to help families in need this holiday season. The toys need to be new, in packages, tags on and unwrapped. All toys will be distributed through the Toy Mountain project, in conjunction with the Salvation Army, CTV, 105.3 fm, Virgin Radio, and 99.5 fm. Unfortunately, Toy Mountain doesn’t accept handmade or used items. They are also in need of “teen” items – so gift cards, beauty boxes, etc. are also encouraged.

Do you want to help us build a mountain of toys? Simply purchase and donate an unwrapped toy. Toys will be given to children aged 0-12.  All toys will be given to children in our region who might not get a gift otherwise. CTV will be visiting some schools to conduct interviews with staff and students. They are looking forward to getting some of these stories on TV as part of the Toy Mountain campaign.

Toys can be sent in with your child to be counted towards a class total.  The class with the largest number of toys collected will win a prize!  Toys may also be dropped off in our box in the front foyer of the school on the evening of the Holiday Concert, which is Wednesday, December 13.  This will be our last day for collection.

Let’s help make someone’s holiday special, put a smile on a child’s face, and show how amazing our Breslau Community is!
