If you haven’t noticed our school has recently hosted a food drive for The Food Bank. The reward for the class who brought in the most cans wins a pita party. All the classes brought in canned goods and helped out The Food Bank. In the end the winning class was Mrs. Walder’s grade 6’s with a total of 246 cans. The Leadership Club also came up with a program that supports the food drive called “We Scare Hunger.” We scare hunger was when the students went trick or treating they also asked for canned goods along with their candy. We’d like to congratulate all the classes for helping out and contributing to the food drive.
