We are happy to report that Ms. Radlein will be continuing in the role of Interim Principal in January.  She has agreed to stay with us after the break, while Mr. Ewald continues to focus on his health.

We say good bye to two staff over the holiday break.  Mrs. McMillan will be officially starting her maternity leave over the holidays.  The pace that Mrs. McMillan was able to maintain right up to the holiday break was amazing!  Where does she get her energy?  We wish her a wonderful break and we hope to meet her future baby in the new year!

Another staff member also embarks on an exciting journey.  Many of our students know Ms. Curry.  For the past few years she was a fixture in Miss Nigul’s classroom as a volunteer.  This past fall we were able to utilize her amazing skills in the role of an Educational Assistant.  This was lucky for our students as Ms. Curry is a qualified teacher.  We recently found out that Ms. Curry will be joining the ranks of supply teachers within our school board.  We hope to see her around in her new role many times in the upcoming months!

Finally, it is with great pleasure that we welcome Ms. Green and Mr. Tinning.

Ms. Green will be the LTO teacher that will be covering Mrs. McMillan’s maternity leave.  She comes to us with extensive professional and teaching experience.  As a passionate music teacher she has conducted the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, several youth choruses and taught all things music and art in an LTO capacity within our board.  She brings her joy of playing all string instruments, singing, piano to Breslau.  She is even a part of a performing group called Arcady.  Her positive approach and focus on getting children playing will fit well with what our children have experience under Mrs. McMillan’s leadership.

Mr. Tinning will also be joining us until the end of the school year.  He will be in the role of an Educational Assistant.  Many of you that frequent Chicopee or have been part of our ski/snowboarding club might recognize him.  We are fortunate to scoop him from his leadership role of running the school programs and summer camps there.  Mr. Tinning is a positive and down to earth person.  He will be a fantastic addition to our growing BPS family!

Please help us in welcoming our new staff!
