If you pop in to BPS this week you will notice a lot more going on than typically happens during the last week of June. This is always a busy time, but even moreso right now. In addition to wrapping up our year, sending out Report Cards, sending out next year’s class placement (that happens Thursday), 12 of our portables are vacating their premises because they will be moved. Another three portables (all of our Grade Two students) will be back inside the school while several of our classes inside the school will be rearranged. However, because our addition is not ready for two more months, we will have boxes everywhere. As you can imagine, we are all looking forward to the completion date of our classroom addition in late August.

You will also notice that the front hallway is barren and that the main offices are  also. July 2 demolition of our main entrance, offices, and current computer lab will begin. This phase of our construction project will not be complete until January 2015. Our main entrance and offices will be temporarily located at our current Kindergarten access door and staff room.

The roof decking is all on. It’s taking shape!
