All parents and children are invited to Breslau Public School’s annual Fall Clean-Up and Planting Day on Saturday October 4, rain or shine, beginning at 9:00 a.m.. We need your help to maintain the existing Naturalization Project at the back of the school and the picnic table area. This will involve planting trees and shrubs, pulling weeds and spreading mulch. It is our hope to involve as many families as possible so we can all take pride and ownership in our naturalized areas and gardens. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. If possible, please bring your own gloves, buckets, shovel, rakes and wheelbarrows.
Thank you for your ongoing support and encouragement. We hope you and your family will be able to join in this project so that the children at Breslau School can have safe and attractive outdoor places to learn and play for years to come!

P.S. A form was sent home for you to sign and return indicating your family’s ability to join in and participate in this event. If you do not receive one and wish to participate please email Mrs. Garrett at wendy_garrett@wrdsb.on.ca.. Thanks!
Many thanks to two of our Grade 6 students, Daphne Sullivan and Danielle Boland, who have helped Mrs. Garrett run the composting program at the school this year. Without this student assistance we couldn’t run the program which helps to greatly reduce our waste and create good soil for our plants!
