I’m pleased to report that Mr. Ewald is getting better, albeit slower than hoped, and is looking forward to returning, when able, at some point in the New Year.

As a retired administrator, I am governed by  Pension Board rules which limit the number of days I am allowed to work in any given school year.  Unfortunately, I will have reached my limit of days by the end of November, and am not able to continue into December. (Its hard for me to imagine my last day at Breslau is just around the corner.  The time has just flown by!)   Therefore, beginning Monday December 1st, retired administrator Maedith Radlein, will begin as Interim Principal at Breslau P.S. during Mr. Ewald’s continuing absence.

It’s been my sincere pleasure to have had the opportunity to be a part of the Breslau School community for the past three months.  Breslau’s winning combination of a genuinely caring and dedicated staff, combined with a pleasant, well-mannered student body, and an active, involved School Council and parent community, has made Breslau a genuine highlight in my professional career.  I leave with many fond memories and will miss interacting with the staff, students and many parents I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know during my time at Breslau.

Season’s greetings and best wishes for an outstanding year ahead!
