Across our board today, our schools are marking Remembrance Day.

Thousands of our students and staff will honour the people who fought for our freedom, sacrificed their lives, and continue to serve our great nation. On behalf of the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB), we thank all our Canadian heroes for their bravery and commitment to keeping us safe. We are grateful for your service – you make us proud to be Canadian.

Breslau Public School

Each year, we showcase a Remembrance ceremony at one of our schools. This year, we were pleased to share the Remembrance Day assembly from Breslau Public School in Kitchener. Their event includes video presentations, choir perfomances, a book reading and a tribute to the 100th anniversary of the end of the Great War (WW1). We hope you enjoy the event live on Facebook.
