Some of our schools are experiencing issues with their internet and phone systems, impacting their ability to make or receive calls. The following schools are affected: Eastwood Collegiate Institute, Grand River Collegiate Institute, Stanley Park PS, Smithson PS, Sheppard PS, Franklin PS, Chicopee Hills PS, Crestview PS, Lackner Woods PS, Breslau PS and Mackenzie King PS. This disruption is also impacting Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region.

A number of organizations are impacted by this outage and service providers are working on repairs.

This disruption does not impact our emergency procedures, and an alternative means of communication are in place in the event of an emergency.

We thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We will let our school communities know when the problem is fixed.
