On behalf of Breslau Public School, we would like to thank Strassburger Windows and Doors for honouring our school with a donation to Strong Start Charitable Organization. We recognize that it is through the generosity and financial support of donors that this program is available to our students.

Strong Start’s Letters, Sounds and Words program is very effective in helping our young students learn to read. While the program is running, the children involved look forward to their weekly visits from the volunteers and enjoy the games and activities that they do together. This early literacy intervention programs helps ensure that those children who are needing support get the added attention they need to help them reach their reading potential. Literacy skills are a great predictor of a child’s success later in life. The Strong Start Letters, Sounds and Words program helps develop these critical skills and helps the children become confident learners. Of further benefit, the volunteer involvement enriches our school community. Thank you very much for helping make this all possible through your financial support of Strong Start.
