E4Change is our school wide, student-lead fundraising drive.  Students at Breslau PS will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities between March 30th and April 2nd in an effort to raise money to support education for children in Kalefo, Ethiopia, a particularly poor area in rural Ethiopia.

 

Below is a list of the fundraising activities students can participate in:

 

Lunch with a Staff Member (Staff makes a special treat to go along with the child’s lunch).

  • Students will fill out a ballot which cost $1.00 and place it in the ballot box of their choice.
  • One ballot per box will be selected at the assembly on April 2nd.

 

  • The Lunch will occur the week of April 7th.

 

Running Challenge

  • Students will fill out a ballot which cost $1.00 and place it in the ballot box of their choice.
  • The Running challenge will occur on April 7th, period 4.
  • Teachers will run one 100 metre lap for every 20 ballots they receive.

 

Movie in the Library

  • Primary students who want to spend a nutrition break or 2 watching a movie (The Ant Bully), will go to the library during second nutrition break on Thursday, April 9th and Friday, April 10th.  
  • Junior student who want to spend a nutrition break or 2 watching a movie will go to the library during second nutrition break on Monday, April 13th and Tuesday, April 14th

 

  • Students will need to make their $1.00 donation by Thursday, April 2nd in order to attend the movie

 

Line of Nickels

  • Students can bring in donations of nickels which will be collected in the front foyer at the beginning of the day from March 30 – April 2nd.

 

  • On Tuesday, April 7th, the nickels will be lined up to see how far they will go down the main hallway

 

 

Easter Grams

  • Students can order Easter Grams on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in the front foyer during first nutrition break by picking up a sheet to fill out with the students name and room number.
  • All Easter Grams will be delivered on Thursday, April 2nd just before first nutrition break
  • Each Easter Gram costs $2.00

 

Teacher/Intermediate Dodgeball Game

  • The game will occur during the second nutrition break on Thursday, April 2nd
  • Students wanting to participate will have to donate their $2.00 by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 1st
  • Money will be collected in the front foyer first thing in the morning and during the first nutrition break from March 30 – April 1st.

 

We have also hosted 2 Breslau Family Movie nights this year where the profits from the sale of popcorn and other baked goods goes to support E4Change.
