Digital Citizenship Summit – “Families in a Digital World”

The Digital Citizenship Summit entitled “Families in a Digital Word is being hosted by the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) for adult family members of children attending WRDSB schools. The event is on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Bluevale Collegiate Institute from 8:30am to 2pm.

The Summit includes a Keynote address by Jennifer Moss, a social media expert, and co-founder of Plasticity Labs, and 3 sessions with a variety of presenters offering topics of interest to families related to Digital Learning, Citizenship and Social Media use among children, youth and young adults. Presenters include local technology leaders and innovators, community members, teachers and board staff.

There is no cost to participate in this Summit. Participants have the option of pre-ordering a lunch by EVO Kitchen at the subsidized rate of $5 when registering. Child care is also available.
